The IX International Conference on Particle-Based Methods (PARTICLES 2025) will be organised on 20-22 October 2025, in Barcelona, Spain.

The objectives of PARTICLES 2025 are to present and discuss the fundamental principles, the new trends and the cutting-edge features of state-of-the-art Particle Methods for solving problems in engineering and applied sciences.

The conference is one of the Thematic Conferences of the European Community on Computational Methods in Applied Sciences (ECCOMAS) and a Special Interest Conference of the International Association for Computational Mechanics (IACM) the event will take place from 20-22 October 2025 in Barcelona, Spain.

Researchers and professionals are invited to submit proposals for Invited Sessions (IS). Abstracts are due by 31 March 2025 through the official conference website. 

The CIMNE Congress Bureau leads the Conference Secretariat for the event, which was first held at Barcelona, Spain in 2009. 

Call for Abstracts

Attendants are invited to submit their proposals for oral contributions by March 31, 2025 using the official website. 

⚠️ Speakers are required to finalize their registration before May 19, 2025 in order to get the presentation included in the Conference Programme.

The one-page abstract needs to include title, authors, membership, objectives, results and most relevant conclusions.

Remember that the file must be sent in .pdf format. The system does not accept other type of files. Please download the template you will find here.

• Student registration: Conference documentation, coffee breaks, lunches and Reception. Please note that student rate attendees must send by e-mail to the Conference Secretariat a document from their University/Research organization stating that the attendee is a full time undergraduate or PhD student.

Each individual registration allows the inclusion in the technical program of one abstract to be presented by the registered participant.
